About Ayush
For over 3,500 years, the Athreya school in the Himalayas has preserved one of the world's most complete systems of mind-body medicine. We carry that knowledge into Montenegro — connected to our sister clinics in London and Kerala.
Our Story
Ayush is a traditional Ayurvedic treatment centre in Podgorica, Montenegro, with sister clinics in London (UK) and Kerala (India). We follow the Athreya tradition of Ayurveda — a group of institutions under the auspices of the Dathathreya heritage, the world's oldest Ayurveda school in the Himalayas, which has preserved the teachings of the scholar Athreya for over 3,500 years.
Our work is guided by Guru Swami Dhananjay Dathathreya Dev, the present head of the Dathathreya heritage. Ayush was established with a mission to restore Ayurveda as a mainstream health-management system across Europe — a mind-body-soul approach that has answered humanity's foundational questions about wellbeing for millennia.
Modern life exposes us to an unprecedented mix of physical, biological, and psycho-social stressors. Our team continually adapts these healing principles to suit the evolving health needs of today — without compromise to the tradition that gives them their power.
We believe in participation at every level of the practice — and in care that holds patient, practitioner, and tradition in equal regard.
